Extra teams:
Hold L and press [C-Right, C-Left(2)]three times at the options screen. The tenth digit of the "Specials"option will change to the number "1" to confirm correctcode entry. The Williams Entertainment, Canada, USA, and 99erteams will be available for selection.

Invisible players:
Pause the game during the opening face off and selectthe replay option. Press L or R to cause a playerto flash. Press Z while the player is flashing to makehim invisible. The entire team can be modified in this manner.

Constant fights:
Hold L and press C-Right, C-Left(2),C-Right, C-Down, C-Up(2), C-Down,C-Left, C-Right(2), C-Left, C-Right,C-Left at the options screen. A fight will break out atregular intervals.

Player trades:
Hold L and press C-Down(2), C-Up(2),C-Down(2), C-Right(2), C-Down at the optionsscreen. The eight digit of the "Specials" option willchange to the number "1" to confirm correct code entry.Return to the main menu, select the records option and enter theteam stats screen. Press C-Up(10). A modify teams menuwill appear. Highlight a team and press A, highlight asecond team and press A again. The first team's rosterwill appear on the left side of the screen. Press B tochange the team on the right side of the screen. Press Upor Down to highlight the player to be replaced; press Leftor Right to highlight the replacement player. Press Ato make the trade. Press Start to advance to the next teamto modify. Note that only two custom teams can exist at once.

Two-player practice mode:
Highlight practice mode on the main menu and pressA on controllers one and two simultaneously.

View developers:
Press A(20) at the title screen.

View company sponsors:
Press Z in the options, setup, or audio menus.An advertisement will scroll across the lower part of the screen.A different ad appears each time Z is pressed.

Guaranteed goal:
Place the player with the puck between the face-offcircles and press A + C-Down.

Lose game:
Pause the game and enter the options menu. Hold Land press C-Left(9). The seventh digit of the "Specials"option will change to the number "1" to confirm correctcode entry. Resume game play. The score will change to "Them1 - You 0" and the game clock will be set to "0:00".To activate this code without ending the game, use it immediatelyafter a goal or at a face-off before the puck is dropped.

Opponent choice:
Enter the team select screen. Then choose an opposingteam and press the C-Right(3). Select your team, and startgame play.

Re-center screen:
Hold L + R to re-center any screen. Releaseboth buttons to keep the screen in its new position. Hold L+ R again to return to normal.

Adjust screen position:
Hold L + R and move the Analog-stickto shift the screen. Release L and R to lock thescreen in that position. Press L + R again to returnto normal.

Quick game:
Enter main menu and highlight the play game option.Hold any C button and press Start. A game featuringWayne Gretzky and the New York Rangers will begin.

Change player appearance:
Press C-Down + R, C-Left + Ror C-Up + R at the options screen. Modify the firstsix bits of a 16-bit register to change the game be pressing:

C-Down + R (head size, alters bits 1 and 2)
C-Left + R (body size, alters bits 3 and 4)
C-Up + R (height, alters bits 5 and 6)

Hint: Fight finishing moves:
During a fight, when your opponent is low on health,hold A + B while rotating the Analog-stick.Your player will either knock the other man into the ground anduse him as a punching bag, or he may spin and do an uppercut.

Hint: Power shot:
Hold A button press C-Down when you ahave white under you in the star.
