Slime Time mini-game:
Insert the "Making Of" disc. Press Circle(2),X, Square(2), Triangle, Circle, X,Square, Start at the main menu. The words "ArcThe Lad Slime Time!" will appear to confirm correct codeentry. The mini-game is a one or two player game of checkers,using Slimes from the game.

Debug mode:
Insert the "Making Of" disc. Press Circle,Square, Circle(7), Square. The debug menuwill appear. You will be able to select any this will take youto a menu where you can look at the contents of any PlayStationdisc. Highlight an option and press X to view that file.To view the contents of another disc, swap discs and press Start.

Hidden message:
Insert the "Making Of" disc. Wait for 1 minute28 seconds on Chapter 5, then select "Pause".

Character and Summon battle modes:
Win all of the 3-Team battles in Battle Arena to unlockthe Character and Summon battle modes in Arc Arena.

Arc The Lad:Unlimited Cure-Alls:
After your first visit to Toyoke forest, keep goingback and talking to the Forest Spirit. She will keep giving youa Cure-All each time you talk to her.

Arc The Lad:Iga's Rock Spell:
Once the "Shingan Hoo" spell (rock spell)is cast on enemies, the "Taimakoodan" spell (laser spell)is enabled/accessible. The laser will attack all the enemies underthe rock spell. Note that the Taimakoodan spell is not usableindependently.

Arc The Lad:Chongara's Monsters and the 1100+ HP Damage Attack:
Chongara's abilities are unique. He summons enemiesof all genera at his will. Though his monsters may not seem asuseful at first, his two monsters "Raigin" and "Fuugin"can be quite a deadly combination when used accordingly.

Though it takes some time to summon both Raigin and Fuugin, oncethey are out, place them around an enemy, preferably a strongone. But note that they must be in a VERITCAL FORMATION (example:Raigin over an enemy, Fuugin underneath the same enemy), in orderfor the attack to work:

Once they are in a vertical formation, a spell will now be accessible,which can inflict more than 1100 HP damage! Death is inevitable.

Arc The Lad:Chongara's Secret Character:
Chongara also has a secret character that he can summonat only certain times. To access her, you must fight your waythrough all 50 dungeon levels at Alalatos, and eventually fighther. If you do manage to defeat her (good luck -- you'll needit), she will join your party and Chongara will be able to summonher, but only in certain locations.

But then, you have to go UP though ALL the 50 levels again, inorder to get out. If you die, all the hours of work will havegone towards nothing! So be sure to be well prepared before goingdown there.

Arc The Lad:Defeating Choko:
Have Tosh use Jubakuzen to paralyze Choko. After Chokois paralyzed, she will do a cute little dance throughout the restof the battle.

Arc The Lad:Talking:
Talk to many of the people when available. If you talkto them annoyingly (over and over), they just might give you somenifty items. For example, the announcer at Needle will eventuallyget sick of you and will give you a book that will make you immuneto all poison statues.

Arc The Lad 2:Item duplication:
Note: Two memory cards are required for this trick.Go to the Arc The Lad Monsters Arena and save your games on bothmemory cards. As player one, load one memory card. Have playertwo load the other. Have player two trade an item from his inventoryto player one. Save player one's game on both memory cards. Twoof the item are now on both save files. Repeat this as many timesas needed.

Note: Two memory cards are required for this trick. Copy the savedgame with the item to duplicated to the other memory card. Then,start Arc The Lad Monsters Arena with two players. Go to the tradingpost, trade the item to the chosen player, then save only withthe player that received the item. Reset the game and you willhave duplicated the item. This can be done with monsters, usedto sell items, and make money or duplicate certain items for quicklevel ups.

Note: Only one memory card is required for this trick. You canduplicate any item from Arc The Lad 2 by using Arc TheLad Monster Arena. Start a two player game. However, you do notneed an extra controller since only one person can be in controlat a time. When loading data, simply remove your memory card fromslot one and place it in slot two. By doing so you trade itemsto yourself at no loss. This is useful if you get items such asfull power fruit, powerful weapons, or powerful monsters. Onceyou trade items from player two to player one, go to the areaand load the data from the card again. You can repeat this asneeded. The only items that cannot be traded are personalizedones.

Arc The Lad 2:Easy money:
Note: Lieza must be in your party. Have Lieza catcha monster, then go to the monsters stats and unequip all his armorand items. Sell all those items, then insert the Arc Arenadisc and sell the monster. You will probably get about 2,000 foreverything.
