Special moves:
When controlling the player with the ball, press L1+ R1 to perform a "standard" special move. Specialmoves should be perform at a certain distance from the goal (variesamong players).
When the goalkeeper is facing a special move, hold L1 +R1 at the same time will help save the ball. Certain goalkeepersare better at saving special moves,
"Double Kick" (DK) shots require two or more characters(one human, one or more computer controlled) to perform a movetogether. It requires the computer player to be nearby when performingsuch move. The required player will be stated.Japan (Junior/Youth):

Hint: Story mode games that can be lost:
When story mode is selected, you will play severalmatches that do not have to be won. For example, when you leadInter Milan with Shingo Aoi and play against Juventus with Gentile,you can have two different FMV sequences if you lose or win, butthe game will continue. Matches that can be lost are:
#1 The second match when you control Inter Milan vs. Juventus
#2 The 3 matches against Real Japan Seven (RJ7).
If #1 was lost, you will not have the opportunity to meet theStreet team during the story. Moreover, several new teams willnot be available as Argentine, Italy, France, etc., when endingthe story. Do not forget to save your part after winning a match.
Hint: Hidden teams playable after endingthe game:
France, Argentine, Italy, Germany, Japan, Inter Milanwith a weak level (for the players as Pierre Leblanc in France'team for example) are available after finishing the whole game.Others teams such as the World team and the Street team can beused in Vs mode.
Hint: Play with the same team:
To play with the same team cooperatively or againstthe CPU, replay the last match against the World team. Save thematch versus RJ7 to avoid replaying all the matches. After watchingthe greetings and credits, go the versus mode and choose the sameteams.
Edit team:
Hold L1 + R1 andpress Square + Triangle at the title screen. A soundwill confirm correct code entry. An option to create, save andplay with a custom team will appear at the title screen.
