Get the airship and fly to Easterly Falls, up inthe northwest corner of the map. Walk around in the forest untilyou encounter Ramuh. Fight and defeat Ramuh to get him as a summon.

Hint: Skip Gilgamesh battle (FinalFantasy 5):
At the end of World 2 when you are infiltratingX-Death's castle, immediately before you reach X-Death's roomyou will encounter a chest with nothing in it. When you leavethis room, Gilgamesh will attack you. However, if you do not openthe chest in this room, you will not have to fight Gilgamesh.

Hint: Defeating Gilgame (Final Fantasy5):
First, make sure you have one chararcter that haslearned White Magic Lv5, another that knows Black Magic Lv5, athird one with Time Magic/Jikuu Lv5, and the last one with Summon/CallLv3. You will need to use Cure3 and Golem most of the time toprotect yourselves. Start the battle with Haste2 and Float andhit Gilgame with Ice3. Make sure to have all of these spells upand running. Then, make everyone in your party change to Monkto get a good amount of HP, then put everyone in the back row.Gilgame is tough and evades easily; there is almost no need tohit him with a weapon. Before you get to his lair (behind a doorin the cave linking the Big Bridge to the plains of Val), castFloat on everyone. Then, start picking up Gil until Gilgame getsyou. Starty by casting Haste2 and Golem. Every time you hit Gilgamewith Ice3, this big turtle will counter twice with his Carapaceattack, causing Blind and Poison. However, Golem will take thedamage for you. Normally, Golem will take five hits from Gilgamebefore you have to resummon him. Keep casting Ice3 and defendingyourselves with Cure3 and Antidote. You may also cast Blink toavoid your opponent's attacks and make Golem last slightly longer.Once Gilgame dies, he will destroy you with a Quake, which willbe fatal to all of you if you are not floating. Winning the battlewill award you 3 ABP and 5000 Gil. If you continue picking upGil in the cave after that, Gilgame might appear again.

Hint: Defeating Bahamut (Final Fantasy5):
Either get four Wall Rings or have a Summoner thatcan cast Carbuncle. Make Black or Time Mages and one Summoner(if you do not have four Wall Rings equipped. Have the Mages casttheir strongest spells (Flare for Black Mages and Meteo for TimeMages) while the fourth person heals the party. You can get theWall Rings from enemies in the Phoenix Tower. Bahamut's spellswill bounce back to him (putting the fight into you favor) whenyou have Wall on the party. The instant kill spell he does atthe end will also be reflected back to Bahamut.

Hint: Defeating enemies (Final Fantasy5):
The following is an easy way to defeat most enemies. If you have a Sorcerer and any of the level 5 Black Magic spells(Fire 3, Ice 3, etc.) you can instantly kill enemies that areweak against that element. This also works on some Bosses.

Hint: Extra ABP (Final Fantasy 5):
In Phoenix Tower, after every few stairs you willreach a room with two pots, one on each side of the room. Oneof the pots contain money, but the other contains a monster. Theenemy is called "Magic Pot" and will not attack you.He will say "Gimme Elixer". Use an Elixer on him andhe will reward with 100 ABP and an item. This is possibly theeasiest way to master items like Mimes, Samurais, Chemists, andNinjas.

In The Void (the last area of the game), all of the monsters give20+ ABP after a battle. To easily win Behemoth battles, firstcast Berserk on it. Next, cast Golem on your allies. You can nowuse physical or magic attacks to defeat them. If Golem wears out, simply recast it. Also in The Void is a monster called a "Mover".They are very rare, but if you are lucky enough to encounter them(they appear in sets of three), kill them all quickly with attackssuch as Bahamut or Leviathan. If you let them live too long, theystart to move around and eventually turn one of your party membersinto stone. When this happens, the battle automatically ends andyou get nothing. The reward for defeating the Movers is 199 ABPand 100,000 gil.

Hint: Easy experience (Final Fantasy5):
In the first world, once you get the airship goto the chain of islands at the bottom of the map. The ones abovecrescent island have an enemy called Black Flame which has theBlue spell Black Shock, and gives high experience, gold and ABPwhen defeated. Also, some of the islands have a monster calledPrototype which you cannot hurt to defeat. Use the Control commandand have it cast Exploder on itself You can also learn the Bluespells Missile and Burn Ray from it. It also gives 500 experienceand 4 ABP when defeated.

The Quar Harpy gives 250 experience to everyone if four are alive,333 experience if three are alive, 500 experience to two or 1000experience to one person. This can help early on in the game,if you are strong enough.

In the second world, after X-Death turns on his barrier, you willget sent to another part of the world map. There are two placesthat actually show up on the map when you use it -- a town anda castle. Villagers in the town warn you about the castle, andthey also mention that the legendary weapons are all sealed there. If you investigate, you will find absolutely nothing to do, anda very difficult (in fact, impossible at your level) monster calleda ShieldDragon. The dragon is technically invincible to you. Hehas Reflect, and you do not. He can kill you in a few blows, andyou (most likely) cannot seriously hurt him. However, if you havesomeone become a trainer long enough to learn Control, then youhave a chance. Simply have everyone defend or heal while one ofthe party tries to Control until they are successful. Once youare controlling him, you can attack him with Blaze for 4999 damage.Being a magical attack in nature, Blaze will not break the Control.Repeat this until he is defeated. By defeating it, you will get1000 gil, 2500 experience per character (10,000 experience total),and 5 ABP. To add insult to injury, you can steal a Mythril Shieldfrom him every time (and occasionally a Gold Shield), and sometimesyou will win a Gold Shield from the fight.

Hint: Easy gil (Final Fantasy 5):
Go to the Valley Of Dragons in Galuf's World (World2). Go in a cave and find a Zombie Dragon. Kill it. This may bedifficult, considering it has about 8,000 HP. After the battle,it should give you about 1000 to 1500 gil, 500 to 1000 experience, and 2 to 7 ABP. A subscreen will appear. Take the Dragon Fangor Dragon Tooth, and kill some more Zombie Dragons. Each DragonFang or Dragon Tooth is worth 2500 gil. Also in the Valley OfThe Dragons is a Bone Mail that resembles a ribcage. It has gooddefense, and can be used by Samurai, Knights, Sorcerers, Lancers, and most other fighting classes.

The Double Lance allows the userto attack twice. Try stealing two and equip them to a Ninja fora 4x attack. The rock statues are very difficult to defeat, buta Soft will kill them instantly.

Go to Albrook in the World of Balance. Immediatelybefore going to the floating continent, you will meet a man thatsays someone tried to sell a glowing rock, and that he went toTzen. Go to Tzen and look behind the trees in the top right-handcorner of the town. You can buy the Sraphim Esper for 3000 GP.Also at this time, if you go to Jidoor you can buy the Golem andZoneSeek Espers for 20,000 GP at the auction house, but it maytake a while because some other things are sold there as well, such as Cure Rings, Cherub Downs and talking Chocobos (which youcannot actually buy).

Hint: Easy Catrot battles (FinalFantasy 6):
You will find a creature called the Cactrot inthe desert southwest of Maranda. It only has 3 HP, an extremelyhigh Evade. Equip your characters with a Sniper Sight and a GenjiGlove to take off 2 HP every time it is attacked. This can alsobe helpful when you face a Catrot in the coliseum.

Equip the Sniper Sight and the Atma Weapon (which should be foundbefore you even get to World of Ruin). This will kill Cactrotwith one hit.

When trying to kill the Catrot, use Edgar's tool command, thenuse the Drill.

Hint: Cast Ultima five times for 1 MP (FinalFantasy 6):
Equip the Economizer and Gem Box relics to allowyou attack two times for 2 MP. Make sure you know the magic Quicke, then enter a battle. Cast Quicke followed by Ultima, then justUltima four more times.

Hint: Throw anything twice (FinalFantasy 6):
The following trick allows you to throw anythingtwice, even if you only have one of the item. Have Gogo mimicShadow to throw the same item twice. Note. If you throw an itemthat you have more than one of, Gogo will use his own and youwill lose two items instead of one.

Hint: Get through tough levels withoutavoiding battles (Final Fantasy 6):
If you are fighting foes who primarily do not usemagic, cast Vanish on all your party members. Afterwards, mostbattles can be fought without taking damage. Occasionally, youwill have to recast Vanish when magic is actually used. This worksvery well if you battle Bosses, such as Umaro, who do not usemagic, and you are tired of using the Vanish/Doom trick.

Hint: Good Coliseum techniques (FinalFantasy 6):

Get the Marvel Shoes
Bet the Flame Sabre to get something (face a "hard"Ninja). Bet that item to get the Rename Card (face Cactrot). Betthe Rename Card to get the Marvel Shoes (face DoomDragon)

Cactrot battle
It helps if your other relic are the Marvel Shoes. If youdo not have them, get the Cure Ring, as he has a 1,000 point attack.

Most other battles after getting the Marvel Shoes
Equip the Marvel Shoes and Dragoon Boots. It also helps ifyou have made it to at least level 35, and have either the Genjior Aegis shield, plus the Force Armor. Do not use the Atma Weaponhere. It also helps if you know some spells, such as Stop.

The Doom Dragon
Equip the same relics and armor as above, also equip the Flameshield. The dragon know S.Cross, a powerful "fire" spell-- this will absorb it. If you have good magic defense, his N.Cross"ice" spell will rarely, if ever hit. With the DragonBoots you can be in the air and gain some life back with the MarvelShoes. He does use Fallen One, which takes your HP down to 1,but rarely attacks so you can gain life back. It helps if youare at a higher level so you can evade his rare non-magic attacks.

Rename Card
Another way to get the rename card in the coliseum, whichyou need to get the marvel shoes, is to bet an Elixir. Then youcan fight and should easily beat Cactrot.

Hint: Good setup for either Terra or Celesin WOR (Final Fantasy 6):
The following is a good setup for either Terraor Celes in WOR, , but before gaining the Marvel Shoes. Equipthe relic that allows you to hold two weapons. 2. Equip Drainerwith the right hand, and Atma Weapon with the left. This allowsyou to gain HP first, which makes the Atma weapon more powerfulimmediately on the same attack. The Mystery Veil, Force Armoris good for armor, and Running Shoes and another relic is alsogood (Cure Ring is not necessary). After gaining the Marvel Shoes, equip the Soul Sabre, which you also win in the Coliseum instead. With the Marvel Shoes and good armor, you should be near the maximumHP most of the time, and will instead need to gain MP back.

Hint: Level up strategy (Final Fantasy6):
When leveling, make sure you have the right Esperyou want equipped to give you bonus leveling points. Once yougain Bahamut, make sure the person with the Atma Weapon is usingit to gain HP +50%,. This will make the Atma Weapon even morepowerful.

Hint: Get Cyan in World Of Ruin (FinalFantasy 6):
Go to the town of Zozo. Talk to the only man thatis walking around (not jumping from building to building or layingdown). He will give you an item. Then, go to the top of the buildingwith the door that is rusted shut and use the item that the mangave you. It will open the rusted door, which leads to Mt. Zozo. There, you will get in a lot of fights and eventually meet upwith Cyan.

Hint: Oprah words (Final Fantasy6):

Oh my hero
I'm the darkness
Must I

Hint: Coliseum items in World Of Ruin (FinalFantasy 6):

Trade a Behemoth suit and get a Snow suit. It works well withMog.
Trade a Rising sun or a Sniper and get a Bone club. Trade theBone Club and get a Red Jacket.
Trade a Chocobo suit and get a Moogle suit. Trade the Moogle suitand get a Nutkin suit. Trade that and get Genji Armor.
Trade Coronet and get a Regal Crown. Trade that and a get Genjihelmet.
Trade an Imp Halberd and keep trading everything you get tillu get an EXP egg.

Glitch: Psycho Cyan (Final Fantasy6):
At the start of battle, have Cyan perform the "Retort"SwordTech (or SwdTech 2), then have another party member castthe "Imp" spell on him. Next, kill Cyan by attackinghim with a physical attack in one blow or several magic attacks. This is to not trigger Retort and cancel the process. After heis wounded, revive him with a Life spell or Fenix Down. Afterany character/enemy attacks, Cyan should automatically and continuouslyattack all enemies uninterrupted until they are all dead. Usethis process to instantly defeat Bosses and tough enemies, includingKefka.

Glitch: Misspelling (Final Fantasy6):
Before battle, equip someone with the Esper Fenrir. Then while in battle, go to the person with Fenrir, select "Magic",and press Up. The game will have "Fenris" printedinstead of "Fenrir".
