Alternate colors:
Highlight a Mobile Suit then hold R1 and pressStart at the selection screen.

Time Attack A mode:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode withfour Mobile Suits.

Time Attack B mode:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode underthe hard difficulty setting with all eight Mobile Suits.

Survival mode:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode withall eight Mobile Suits.

Sound test and voice test mode:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode withall eight Mobile Suits under any difficulty setting. The soundtest and voice test options will be unlocked on the sound optionmenu.

Acguy:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode withGundam RX-78 to unlock Acguy in Versus, Time Attack, and Survivalmodes.

Ball:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode withGundam RX-78 to unlock Ball in Versus, Time Attack, and Survivalmodes.

Big-Zam:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode underthe hard difficult setting with all eight Mobile Suits and completeTime Attack A mode in five minutes or less to unlock Big-Zam inVersus, Time Attack, and Survival modes.

The easiest way to get the Big-Zam is to play Time Attack A withthe Dark Gundam and constantly use the Double Hand Beam (Forward,Down, Away, Punch). It gives the enemy megadamage and it is unblockable. It is possible to complete TimeAttack A in three minutes with this trick.

Bolt Gundam:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode withGundam Maxter to unlock Bolt Gundam in Versus, Time Attack, andSurvival modes.

Dark Gundam:
Play as at least twenty different Mobile Suits in VersusCOM, then complete Street Mode with any Mobile Suit to unlockDark Gundam in Versus, Time Attack, and Survival modes.

Successfully complete the game under the normal difficulty settingwith RX-78 Gundam. You will unlock Time Attack A, Acguy, Ball,and Zaku IIS. Then, successfully complete the game with Zaku IISunder the normal difficulty setting to unlock Dark Gundam.

Complete street mode with all eight Mobile Suits. Then, defeatat least twenty different Mobile Suits in versus CPU mode. Completestreet mode again and Dark Gundam will be unlocked.

Full Armor ZZ Gundam:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode withTallgeese III to unlock Full Armor ZZ Gundam in Versus, Time Attack,and Survival modes.

Gundam Epyon:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode underthe hard difficult setting with all eight Mobile Suits to unlockGundam Epyon in Versus, Time Attack, and Survival modes.

Gundam Physalis (GP-02A):
Successfully complete the game in Street mode withBurning Gundam to unlock Gundam Physalis (GP-02A) in Versus, TimeAttack, and Survival modes.

Heavy Arms Custom:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode withGundam Deathscythe Hell Custom to unlock Heavy Arms Custom inVersus, Time Attack, and Survival modes.

Hydra Gundam:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode withTallgeese III to unlock Hydra Gundam in Versus, Time Attack, andSurvival modes.

Hygoog:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode withWing Gundam Zero Custom to unlock Hygoog in Versus, Time Attack,and Survival modes.

Master Gundam:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode underthe hard difficulty setting with Burning Gundam and Gundam Maxterto unlock Master Gundam in Street mode. Successfully completethe game in Street mode with Master Gundam to unlock it in Versus,Time Attack, and Survival modes.

Neue Ziel:
Defeat twenty opponents in survival mode to unlockNeue Ziel in Versus, Time Attack, and Survival modes.

Go to survival and time attack A modes and get high scores. Thisshould unlock Neue Ziel and Big Zam.

Psycho Gundam:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode underthe hard difficult setting with all eight Mobile Suits and completeTime Attack B mode in three minutes or less to unlock Psycho Gundamto unlock Gundam Epyon in Versus, Time Attack, and Survival modes.

Quin Mantha:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode withMaster Gundam to unlock Quin Mantha in Versus, Time Attack, andSurvival modes.

Tallgeese III:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode underthe hard difficulty setting with Gundam Deathscythe Hell Customand Wing Gundam Zero Custom to unlock Tallgeese III in Streetmode. Successfully complete the game in Street mode with TallgeeseIII to unlock it in Versus, Time Attack, and Survival modes.

Zaku IIS:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode underthe hard difficulty setting with Gundam RX-78 to unlock Zaku IISin Street mode. Successfully complete the game in Street modewith Zaku IIS to unlock it in Versus, Time Attack, and Survivalmodes.

Zeong:
Successfully complete the game in Street mode withZaku IIS to unlock Zeong in Versus, Time Attack, and Survivalmodes.

Hint: Special moves:
Press Down, Forward + Punch +Kick.

Circle half way from down to where you are facing and press Triangle+ Circle to use one of three specials.

Hint: Defeating Big Zam:
Use all three Sephika Tenkyoken at Big Zam. Watch outfor the missiles, but try to fly away from the Big Zam. Use BurningFinger frequently, as it does a lot of damage. However you cannot pull him up because he is heavy. The Gundam you aer usingis the Burning Gundam. Win with Gundam Maxter to get Bolt Gundam.

Hint: Defeating Dark Gundam with GundamMaxter:
Dark Gundam is incredibly difficult to defeat withGundam Maxter under the hard difficulty setting. The best strategyis to attack him while he executes a move and keep your distance.Do not stay in close; the Stun move will not work. While he doesthe Punch Fury move, either fire with the Magnums or get behindhim and use the Gigantic Magnum or Machine Gun Punch. When heraises his hands in the air and they glow, do not block; it willnot work. Either fly up or dodge to avoid the beams. Do not tryto block the Gundam heads; you will still get damaged. Eitherdodge or fly out of their range.

Hint: Defeating Gundam Rose:
Use Gundam Maxter. Make sure you have sixty secondsto defeat him. First, use Machine Gun Punch three times. Sometimeshe will block it. Use your guns to do a lot of damage. If youcannot defeat him, fly away from him and do a little damage onhim to win.

Hint: Altron Gundam: Beam Trident RushAttack:
Press Right, Down, Left, Right+ Punch for the Beam Trident Rush Attack, which is notin the manual. Note: This assumes player is facing to the right.

For Altron's other Trident attack, press Forward, Down,Away, Forward, Punch. Altron will do a differentand more effective trident move.

Hint: Bolt Gundam: Double Ball Attack:
Perform the attack where Bolt Gundam unleashes hisball on a purplish chain. However, when it is in mid-flight, pressthe same combination of buttons again.

Hint: Burning Gundam: Fiery Hand Burner:
Press: Back, Down, Foward, Back,Punch. Note: This move does not work on most Bosses andcan only be used at close range. However, it can take at leasthalf off your opponent's energy gauge.

Hint: Burning Gundam: Burning Kick:
Press Forward, Down, Forward.

Hint: Burning Gundam: Combo:
When fighting in any mode, use Burning Fingers (Down,Left + Punch) and immediately after the attack isdone use Sekiha Tenkyoken (Down, Right + any twoAttack). Make sure you have at least one more special gaugeleft.

Press Away, Down, Forward, Down, Away+ Triangle. Burning Gundam grabs the opponent and thrustshim back with Burning Fingers.

Hint: Deathscythe: Teleport:
When on the left side of the screen, press Down,Left, Circle. When on the right side of the screen,press Down, Right, Circle.

Hint: Deathscythe: Teleport to Quick Slash:
Use Teleport (Down, Back, Kick)and while you disappear, hold Down and press Triangle.With the correct timing, you can slash your opponents when youappear in front of or behind them.

Hint: Deathscythe: Hell combo:
When using the Down/Back + Punchattack, wanting to cause major damage may overcome you. Once thebeams are hitting (it does not matter if they block), use hismega-special to cause sufficient damage.

Hint: Psycho Gundam: Knee Smash:
Press Down/Back + Punch to grab youropponent and smash him on your knee, doing major damage.

Hint: Psycho Gundam: Punch combo:
Use his Weak Punch (Square) four to six times, then usehis strong punch (Triangle).

Hint: Sandrock Custom: Shotel Carnival:
Press Forward, Down, Left + Kick.

Hint: Score under three minutes in TimeAttack B:
Use GP 02A (Gundam Physalis). Since you fight the fourHuge Class Mobile Suits (Big-Zam, Neue Zeil, Dark, Psycho Gundam),they cannot or do not block much. Use the Missile Rain Attack(Down, Away, Punch), and try not to hit theSuits with the initial Missile Pod (as it does less damage). Letit open and do more damage.

Hint: Easy win:
When playing under the hard difficulty setting, mostMobile Suits are difficult to defeat in battle. Use a 99 secondtime limit to compensate for this.

Hint: Destroying Mobile Armors:
Immediately boost over to the Armor's backside anduse an attack that cannot be blocked until one or two of it armorgauges are gone. After this, continue unloading all of your ammunition/specialsinto it. If it turns around or tries to jump on you (Big-Zam usually),dash in front and boost behind when you get a chance. Most Gundamscan drop it without losing any health, if your dodges are timedcorrectly. Note: Some Gundams consume ammunition much faster thanothers.

Hint: Blocking the unblockable:
The following Gundams can block unblockable techniquessuch as Beam Sabers: Master Gundam, Wing Zero Custom, and anyGundam with a Bubble Shield (any two attack buttons). With MasterGundam, use his Master's Cross (Down, Away, Punch).With Wing Zero Custom, use his Bird Tackle (Down, Away,Kick) or his Rising Bird Tackle (Down, Forward,Down, Kick). This move can damage the opponent,unlike the Master Cross.

With Mobile Suits in line with Gundam and ZZ Gundam, press Down,Away + simultaneous Attack buttons can give youa temporary shield.

Hint: Manual special moves:
You can alter the following so your Gundam performsdifferent actions while performing a Special. These moves arepossessed by Dragon Gundam, Deathscythe Hell Custom, Epyon, andpossibly others. With Dragon Gundam, use his Dragon Flame (Down,Away, Punch) and press Up or Downto move the Dragon Flame in that direction. You can also use thismove in the air. With Gundam Deathscythe Hell Custom, use hisPhantom Move (Down, Away, Kick) and holdany direction to appear in that direction. This move can alsobe used in the air. With Epyon, use his Charging Energy Sphere(Down, Forward, Punch) and hold any directionto travel project Epyon towards the opponent. Epyon can plow throughany move with Charging Energy Sphere. This can also be used inthe air.

Hint: Quick Time Attack B completion:
Use Dark Gundam and use Forward, Down,Away, Punch to shoot two unblockable lasers. Whentheir life is low, use all three of your supers.
