Control main menu:

Collect the following amount of Bertie Bott beans tounlock an item behind a portrait at Hogwarts.

50 Yellow Beans: Nimbus Two Thousand

80 Green Beans: Glove for Quidditch
100 Red Beans: Advanced Flipendo

Hint: Chess:
Follow these moves to complete the chess levels.

Level 1 moves: White, Right, Left, Right, Left.
Level 2 moves: Black, Up-Left, Down-Right, Left.
Level 3 moves: White, Up-Left, Up-Left, Up-Left, Down-Right, Down-Right.

Hint: Devil's Snare:

First: Hit the tentacle that turns light green (quickly) untilall of them (except the middle) are gone.

Second: Run around on the green part of the floor and do not gethit. After the middle tentacle misses you, hit it with a chargedFlipendo.

When you get to the part with the Devil's Snare, hit all of thelight green tentacles and they will wilt and disappear. If youhit a dark green one, they will all grow back. Then, you mustdefeat the big tentacle in the middle.

Hint: Potion lesson:
When going through the potion lesson, you will be approachedby a dark figure. It will make you fall down a level. When youget to the part with the bubbles, go to the top level of the room.Press Square to go into a room where Nearly Headless Nickis. He will tell you to push the cauldrons. When you completethis task, he will give you a Famous Wizards And Witches Card.Go out of the room, then enter again. Do the same thing with him.Each time you do this, he will give you a different Wizards AndWitches Card. Also, check out the other bookcases in the castlethat you cannot climb.

Hint: Defeating the gargoyle:
Dodge its dives, then load a Flipendo while it is divingtowards you.

Hint: Defeating Malfoy:
You will face Malfoy in the entrance hall. To defeathim, throw back any Wizard Crackers he throws at you. Throw enoughand he will die. Watch out for Crabbe and Goyle, who will defendhim.

Hint: Defeating the suits of armor:
To defeat the suits of armor with swords, while theyare walking toward you, charge Flipendo. Then, its head will falloff. Charge another Flipendo and hit it.

Hint: Defeating Voldemort:
After drinking the Ice Potion,you will go in a room with four suits of armor. The cloaked figurewill say "I wondered whether I'd be meeting you here Potter.You're far too inquisitive to remain among the living." Youmust defeat the four suits of armor, then you will face a largesuit of armor. Defeat it, but avoid its sword's ray. Rocks willfall, including one that takes off Quirrels Cloak. He will thensay "Damn you Potter. But, Master. it wasn't my fault."You will cross the bridge, drink the Wiggenweld Potion, and followhim into the room. The Mirror Of Erised will give you the Stone.Press Square to escape the ropes and Flipendo the poles.Then, shoot Flipendo twice inside the mirror after avoiding hisgreen spells. He will pin you on the ground. Press Squareto power up. Press X when prompted. After awhile, he willscream and you have won.

When fighting Voldemort and you are on your last hit, you canbe recharged. After Voldemore has given you his last warning,he will strangle you but your power meter will be filled.

Hint: Defeating the last Troll:
Run as fast as you can until you get you get to anobject that can be used with Wingardium Leviosa. Then, use theCharm, move it to the side, and let it drop. When it gets to thebottom, press Triangle. Keep doing this until all of theobjects are on the side and you should see a hole. Jump over thehole and wait until the Troll falls in. Then, go to the door.

Hint: Keeping Troll asleep:
When you are in the dungeons for Snape's class, youwill meet a sleeping Troll. In order to keep the Troll asleep,you must Wingardium Leviosa the basket with the key onto the haystacknext to it.

Hint: Grabbing the Snitch:
When the Snitch is about an inch away from your hand,grab it. This may require a few attempts.

Hint: Behind bookshelves:
Behind one bookshelf you have to shoot pumpkins, cauldrons,and chocolate frogs with your Flipendo. You will have to shootthem back for a Slytherin. This is located in the Slytherin dooracross from your door in the entrance hall.

Hint: Find secret areas:
If there is a bookshelf that you cannot climb on, pressSquare and it will open. You will find different thingsthat will help you inside. Also, there are parts on the castlewalls outside that can be opened. To tell if the wall can be opened,it will be a lighter color. Press Square to open it.

In the last part of the game, after defeating the Devil's Snareand several other tasks, you will pass through a passage ontothe next task. In these passages are secret doors, on the righthand side of the wall. They are a slightly lighter color thanthe rest of the wall. To get inside them, press Square.Inside will be Chocolate Frogs and a book that lets you save thegame.

You can go through the two castle walls that connect to the rightof the entrance to Gargoyle's Gate, on your way to the Fire Seeds.When you get to the small cemented area, press Triangleand look straight up. There should be a witch or wizard card there.To get it, aim a Flipendo at the card.

When you get to the Dark Forest, go to the clearing where youIncendio the steps up to the clearing where Voldemort is located.Go the other way and follow that path. When you get to a door,go through to find beans. Press Triangle and look up tofind a witch or wizard card. To get it, cast a Flipendo at thecard.

When you first enter the Dark Forest after you talk to Hagrid,go to the left of the clearing. There should be a wall of treesthat look differently than the others. Cast a Flipendo at it toget through. There should be another one after it. Do the sameto get more beans.

There is a bookshelf by where Fred and George are located, outsidefrom the portrait of the fat lady. Go up to it and press Square.Inside will be a Famous Witches and Wizards card (Merlin).

Hint: House Cup:
Although you may think you have lost at the end ofthe game, defeat Voltamort to win the House Cup.

Hint: House Points:
Shoot spider webs and anything else with a glowingsparkle above it to get House Points.

Hint: Blue Beans:
When you go through the tunnel doorway after passingthe well where the boy is looking for his kitten, you will seea yellow bouncing Puffskein. If you lead him to the brown pricklybushes (do not touch them), it will eat and start popping outBlue Beans.

Hint: Red Beans:
When Peeves races, you get some Red Beans. Go backlater to collect them all. When the troll chases you, try to getas many beans as possible.

Hint: Witch And Wizard Cards:
At Gringott's Bank, get all of the coins in each levelto get three extra Witch And Wizard Cards.

Hint: Owl shop:
When in the Owl shop on Diagon Alley and feeding theowl, be careful of the owls flying around the one you are tryingto feed. If they get near the food, they will eat it in midaircausing you to start over.

Hint: Go flying:
When you are trying to knock Trolls down wells withHose Puffer things that make them sneeze, you can go flying/ Throwone of those at them when they are over the well to make themsneeze. Before they sneeze, run over and stand next to them onthe gate. They will fall down the well and you will go flyingin the air before landing back on the ground.

Hint: No chasing Malfoy:
Win the Quidditch cup at the main screen before youstart a new game. You will not have to chase Malfoy for the Rememberall.

Hint: Sloth Brain for Snape:
First, get the Fire Seeds for Hagrid, which will openthe gate behind his hut. Go through the gate and follow the pathuntil you find Ron Weasly. Follow him to the Quiditch Pitch. Whilehe is talking, Neville Longbottom will appear. Ron will say "Hey,here comes Neville. He looks quite upset. Best go see what hewants". Harry will go to Neville automatically. He will say"Malfoy stole my Rememberall and ran onto the school groundswith it". Harry will automatically follow Neville. Malfoywill speak and you must defeat him. He will speak again and throwthe Rememberall and Harry will catch it. Professor McGonnagalwill appear and speak about Quiditch. You will go to the QuiditchPitch where Ron, Hermione, and Hagrid will wish you good luck.Once you finish Quiditch, you will run into Snape who tells youabout the missing Sloth Brain. He will confiscate your "QuiditchThrough The Ages" book and a map will fall out. Walk overto the map and Ron will appear and speak. After that, you willfollow him to a gate. He will unlock it and you will walk inside.Once inside, go straight and turn left to the Puffapod Patch.Ron will speak. Next, you need to find the tunnel that leads toa Venomus Tentacular. Defeat the Tentacular and proceed. You willfind a lever. Use the lever and return to the Puffapod Patch.The door behind it will now be unlocked, Enter the door and defeatthe Horklumps. The Sloth Brain is past the Horklumps on a treestump, Pick up the Slot Brain and jump to the bush in front ofyou. Jump off the bush and you will be near the lever from earlierin the area. Go to the gate and return to Hogwarts.

Hint: View game completion:
When defeat Voltamort the game credits will begin.Try to go back to your saved game. Although you cannot start itagain since Voltamort was defeated, the game will display thepercentage that was completed.
