Hint: Getting promotion points:
You can get Promotion Points (PP) by doing the following.
Completing a level: 1 PP
Keeping all of your pigs alive in a level: 1 PP
Completing all the levels on a island: 5 PP
Completing special tasks on some levels: 1 to 5 PP
Hint: Easy kill:
This trick only works if you have Freeze Gas and Hide.First throw Freeze Gas on your opponent(s); then Hide for as manyrounds as necessary for the opponent(s) to sneeze themselves todeath. Even the strongest opponent (legend) can be defeated inthis way. However, this may take up to (150-15)/10 i.e. 14 rounds;weaker opponents are finished off sooner. The advantage of thismethod is that even if you are outnumbered and/or very weak youcan still kill really strong opponents while guaranteed that youget away unharmed.
Use a weapon that can knock Pigs far, such as the Cattle Prod.Knock them far out into the water and they will lose a lot ofhealth trying to swim back to land, and they may even drown. Thisis also useful if the water is Poison -- even if they make itback to land they will be poisoned. Note: Commandos and Heroeswill not lose health in the water.
Use the following trick to ensure a hit with a missile launcher.Get close (but not too close) to the enemy. Level the sight ofyou bazooka so it is straight. Aim at the enemy, then apply fullpower. This will definitely do 40 damage to him.
On "The Spying Game" level, make sure you have a sapperwith at least two mines. During the level, two enemy spies comedown on to two pig heads. Place a mine on both heads. When thespy comes down, he will have 60 health taken off him on impact.
Hint: Easy level completion in multi-playermode:
Choose multi-player mode and set it for two playersand one CPU player. Choose a level then pick the team you want.Next, select the player you want to help you then the player youwant to play against. You can control the first and second player.It will now be easier to defeat your enemy because you will havetwice as many hogs as the them. When you defeat the enemy, haveplayer two skip a turn. Have player two keep skipping turns untilyou kill all of player two's hogs to win.
Hint: Destroying vehicles, pillboxes orartillery:
When you are attempting to destroy vehicles, pillboxesor artillery, an excellent way to do so is to have a pig witha flamethrower (Pyrotechnics have them, level 3 heavy weaponssoldiers, or they can be used in multiplayer mode). Walk it upclose to the intended target. Face the target, and let rip withthe flamethrower, so all the flames hit the vehicle, pillbox orartillery. It should suffer about 102 to 108 points of damage.
Hint: Attack with jetpack:
If you have jetpacks that you do not need, walk upto an enemy and turn around so you are facing directly away fromyour target. Equip a jetpack, and aim directly upwards. Fire thejetpack, and then release it after about two seconds. The enemywill suffer a maximum of 20 points of damage from the blast causedby the jetpack hitting the earth, plus any additional damage causedaccording to where the pig lands. Your pig should land safelyby parachute, but try and make him land on an enemy. If you cando so, you will inflict 1 point of damage. You can repeat thisas many times as needed one turn, providing you have enough jetpacksand do not suffer damage yourself -- using a jetpack does notend a turn.
Hint: Heal yourself:
Heal yourself with a medi gun by pointing the gun straightup in the air. Shoot, and it will hit and heal you.
Hint: Double all pigs' heath:
Select the "Multiplayer" option at the mainmenu. After player setup, go to level setup. Select health todouble or half. This effects all pigs in multi-player mode. Thisalso works in single player mode and loaded saved games.
Hint: Get Commandos before the level 1:
Start a new game and enable the "Bonus FMV sequence"code. Play the training mission and after the loading screen twoFMV sequences will start. The game will then return to the startingscreen or the men upgrade screen, depending on your version. Selectmulti-player mode, and choose a deathmatch. Then, select the PlayPen level and choose paratroopers for your entire team. Startthe game, and you will see the FMV sequences again. After theycomplete, you should have Commandos at the men upgrade screen.
Hint: Swimming:
Commandos and Heroes are the only ones that can swimwithout losing health. All other Pigs will lose health tryingto swim.
Hint: Hiding place:
If you find a "?" box, this may be one ofthe Pigs hiding. This will not appear on the mini-map.
Hint: Destroy bridges:
To destroy a bridge, set TNT or Super TNT on it toblow it up. Note: This may not work on all bridges.
Hint: Easy completion of last level:
Make sure to kill the purple gunner in the pillbox.When the legends come down, poison them. Every pig sould haveone poison gas, which is just enough to poison each legend. Chooseone pig (you should have commandos and heroes by now) and makehim hide for the rest of the battle. With the other pigs, youcan make them hide, or to speed it up, keep attacking the enemyuntil you die. As this is the last level, it does not matter ifonly the pig who keeps hiding survives.

A pig in this career has long-range weapons like thebazooka, and is good for long-range combat. This is a good careerif you can aim long-range well and can help on levels where yournormal weapons cannot hit your enemies. However This is not agood career if you cannot aim long-range weapons that well. Also,you cannot fight that well at close-range. The three ranks ofthe "Heavy Weapons" career are:

A pig in this career has close-range weapons like theShotgun and explosives, good for close-range combat; also, youcan see mines, good health. This is a good career if your notthat good at aiming long-range weapons. Also this is the onlycareer that you can see mines, making it good to negotiate minefieldsto get weapons and extra promotion points. However this is nota good career for long-range combat and you almost cannot do anythingon "long-range shootout" levels with your starting weapons.The three ranks of the "Engineer" career are:

A pig in this career will not appear on the enemy'smini-map, can hide, can steal a pig's skills, and will show upon the mini-map if its that team's turn with a pig in the career.This is a good career to use because you can use the skill "hide"to hide in a "?" box or in a tree. You can also makea pig somewhat harmless by stealing their skills with "PickPocket" and using the "Sniper Rifle". However,it is not the best career for combat, and only has one long-rangeweapon (Sniper Rifle). The three ranks of the "Espionage"career are:

Thethree ranks of the "Medic" career are:
