Note: This is the King's Field game from North America. This game is titled King's Field 2 in Japan.

Hint: Getting the Moonlight Sword:
Battle Guyra and stay as close to him as possible.Move forward when he attacks with a large bite to climb on hisback. Walk along his back, take the Moonlight Sword, and falloff the edge. Alexander will appear at the fountain with the sword.

Hint: Fighting:
Keep a small distance between Alexander and the enemy.Wait until the power gauge is full. Time your attack, rush theenemy and begin slashing. Retreat quickly and repeat until theenemy is killed. Press L1 and R1 to rotate behindthe enemy to attack safely.

Hint: Keys and Gates:
Find a guidepost once a Gate and matching Gate Keyare obtained. Use the Key in front of the guidepost. Use the Gateto be transported to the guidepost that holds the correspondingKey at the cost of 10 MP. There are three pairs of Keys and Gates.

Hint: Traps:
Check around traps to find a switch to disarm them.

Hint: Magic swords:
The Ice Blade, Flame Sword, Shiden, Spider, Seath'sBlade, and The Dark Slayer have the ability to cast magic. Eachof these swords has two different, unique sword magics, type Aand type B. To execute type A sword magic press Square,Triangle. Note: Some sword magic requires that Trianglebe held for full effect. To execute type B sword magic, pressX, Square, Triangle. Note that your Alexandermust have a strength and magic power of over 60 and a full powerand magic gauge to use the magic. Additionally, Alexander cannotwear armor that conflicts with the sword (such as Ice Armor withthe Flame Sword).

Hint: Receiving the Ruinous Boots for free:
You can take the Ruinous Boots (Seath's Boots) forfree instead of purchasing them from Cellfy in Base No. 4. Equipyour dagger and slash him repeatedly without charging to causeminimal damage. After he has moved over to the right sufficiently,you may pick up the boots sitting on the table. If you accidentallykill Cellfy, reset and try again.

Hint: Battle Hammer:
Go to the central village. Find Krola and hit her untilyou pass her. You will then find many houses. Find stairs, godown, then turn right. Walk, turn right and you will find morestairs. Go upstairs and you will see a castle. Do not go in thelava. Continue to walk until you find a dead end. Turn right andyou will find a thing to walk to. Go and kill three monsters.You will find three doors. Go in the middle door and turn right.Walk and turn left. Walk until you find a door to you right. Openit, kill the monsters, turn right, and you will find a BattleHammer and lots of medical herbs.

Hint: Blood stones:
Blood stones cure conditions.

Hint: Dragon Fruit:
Dragon Fruit restores MP, HP, and cures conditions.

Hint: Harvine's Flute, Moon Gate, and Necron'sMap:
To find Harvine's Flute, you must find the image ofSeath, then trade with Fai. You will get the Moon Gate. Tradeto Fai again with three Crystal Flasks and he will give you Harvine'sflute. Trade again with three Crystal Flasks and he will giveyou Necron's Map.

Hint: Horming Star:
Go to Termite's Nest, find the Queen, and kill her.She will give you the Rhombus Key. Behind her is Sandler. Hewill give you the Pirate's Key. Go back to the first save pointand go to the part where there is a door in wood. Open the door,kill the monster inside, and find a room with about six boxes. Open all the boxes. One of them contains the Horming Star.

Hint: Regenerating MP:
A Moon Stone, Dragon Fruit or MP Water can be usedto regain MP. Also certain items regenerate HP and MP as Alexanderwalks. Once Seath's fountain is found, fill as many flasks possiblewith Healing water. If all three streams of water are flowinginto the fountain, it creates gold water that heals all MP, HPand cures conditions.

Hint: Doors:
There are two types of "sealed" doors; thosenear the fountain, and all others. The doors at the fountain openwhen all three waters are flowing. The others "unlock"when Alexander has the Dark Slayer sword. If a door is openedwith a Rhombus key, make there is a second key in inventory beforeentering the room. If the door closes in a dead end room, Alexanderwill be stuck. Another key is required to open the door from theinside.

Hint: Verdite:
Verdite permanently increases magic points by one whenused. However, it also may be sold.

Hint: Crystals :
Two crystals can be taken to the Crystal Crafter andthen turned into a flask. Flasks are very important for tradingand carrying waters.
