Super player:
Enter Scott Murray or any other developmentteam name as a player name at the player creation screen or duringspring training.

Force an error:
Hit a pop up, and if someone from the other team goesto catch it, hold R1 + R2 + L1 + L2,and press Circle, Triangle, Square, X,Right, Up, Left, Down. The playerwill get an error upon catching the ball. Note: This does notwork every time, and must be done before the person catches theball.

Extra out on play:
Throw the ball to a base when fielding. This trickworks better at second base. Keep throwing the ball to that baseuntil the player over-throws it into the outfield. At times thegame will call another out if the ball is caught.

Baseball Bloopers FMV sequence:
Enter the start menu and allow the MLB '99 demo torun. Watch it until one half of the inning is over, and then aspecial FMV sequence, along with the credits, will appear.

Fights:
Intentionally hit a batter, then immediately pressX(3). The announcer will say "That out to clear thedugout" before the fight begins. Note: A few attempts maybe necessary before a fight breaks out.

Bonus audio:
Play track two of the game disc in an audio CD playerto hear music from the game.

Hint: Easy hits:
When playing the CPU hold Down while hittingand press Power. The batter should get a hit approximately90% of the time. This is especially useful in spring trainingmode.

Hint: Easy homeruns:
Hold Up/Left when at bat and keep the buttonsheld after the ball is hit. This will make the ball fly past theleft fielder, however he may catch the ball.

Hint: Easy strikeouts:
Get a pitcher with a good arm and a sinker. Pitch asinker to the batter inside and down a little bit, outside thestrike-zone. If the right spot is found, keep pitching there tostrike the batter out in five pitches.

Hint: Charge the catcher:
Repeatedly tap X when running home and yourrunner will ram the catcher. At times, this may cause the catcherto drop the ball. Note: Auto Sliding must be enabled.

Hint: Hitting accuracy:
After the pitcher chooses where to place the pitch,press a direction on the D-pad to view where the ball travels.Press Up if you wish to hit straight in the air or intocenterfield, press Down for hitting a ground ball. Theball may not go to certain places because of where the ball ispitched (inside, outside, high, or low).

Hint: Best team:
Go to rosters and enter trading. Trade these playersto the Toronto Blue Jays.

Glitch: Frozen players:
When a CPU player runs to get a fly ball in the outfield,at the last second come up and catch the ball. When you catchthe ball, run around so that game does not continue to the nextbatter. The CPU player that tried to catch the ball should remainthere frozen, with his arms up. You cannot unfreeze him by runninginto him -- you will be knocked down and he will be still frozentrying to catch the ball. The player will return to normal whenyou go to the next batter.
