Note: A memory card must be inserted in the PlayStation.Select the "Replay Theater" option from the main menu.Highlight the "Replay Video" selection, then hold R1and press X. Twenty video selections from "Team SCEI"will show the best runs from the game's development team. PressX or Circle during each demo to change camera angles.
Ghost race:
Note: A memory card must be inserted in the PlayStation.Highlight the "Load Ghost from Video" option at thetime attack menu. Then, hold R1 and press X. Oneof the "Team SCEI" demo races may be chosen for gameplay.
Quick start:
Press X when the yellow light turns on to geta fast acceleration off the starting line. This will not workin "GP mode".
Quick acceleration:
Hold the reverse button while accelerating to pushany racer to top speed in approximately one second.
Debug mode (Japanese version):
Select Goodies from the main menu, hold L1,L2, R1, or R2 and press Select. Fournumbers will appear in the lower right corner of the screen. Theshift buttons must be held in combinations to enter a hexadecimalnumber in the debug value. Pressing Select accepts thatnumber. R1 = 1, R2 = 2, L1 = 4, L2= 8. Thus, to enter a debug value of 6, press R2 + L1.
