Super defenseman:
Enter the create-a-player screen and enter SandisOzolinsh, Chris Pronger, or Scott Hannan asa name. Answer "Yes" to use his ratings, then adjustthem as needed.

Super forward:
Enter the create-a-player screen and enter PeterForsberg, Jaromir Jagr, Keith Tkachuk, PavelBure, Steve Yzerman, Owen Nolan, Rob Blake,Eric Lindros, or Nicklas Lidstrom as a name. Answer"Yes" to use his ratings, then adjust them as needed.

Super goalie:
Enter the create-a-player screen and enter PatrickRoy, Dominik Hasek, Ed Belfour, or Olaf Kolzigas a name. Answer "Yes" to use his ratings, then adjustthem as needed.

Jersey number 99:
Enter the create-a-player screen and enter WayneGretzky as a name. The game will automatically assign himjersey number 99.

The Dude player:
Enter the create-a-player screen and enter Dudeas a name. The announcers will refer to the character during gameplay as "The Dude".

Name announcements:
Create a player and enter Hammer, Animal,Mario, Bill, Spanky or any other common nameas his first name. The announcer will refer to him by that firstname during game play.

Taunts:
Hold Triangle after scoring a goal, winninga fight, winning a game, or when the opposing team gets a penalty.

Hint: Easy trades:
If you want a trade for a player, but the other teamdeclines, make the team you want the player from a user controlledteam. You can now easily trade for the player. Change the teamback to CPU controlled afterwards.

Hint: Easy goals:
Get a big shooter (a player with a little stick bladeicon) to shoot on net. If you shot hard enough, the goalie willget knocked down. Shoot into the "empty" net for aneasy goal.

The following trick requires two controllers. Have controllertwo be over the opposing team. Pull the goalie, make player twoquit or join the other team.

When your playing a season and need some goals, pause game play,go to "Controllers", then "Controller Setup".Set your control to the opposing team, exit that menu, and pullthe goalie. Resume the game, pause again, enter the "Controllers"screen again and set control back to your team. The CPU will leavethe goalie pulled.

Get a good shooter and go to your own blue line. Flick a quickwrist shot and the puck should fly over the opposing goalies headfor a goal. If done correctly, you should score every time.
