Hit home runs:
Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2and press Triangle, Square, Triangle, Circle,X, Square, Left, Right. The soundof a thud will confirm correct code entry.
Strike out the batter:
Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2and press Up, Down, Triangle, Square,Triangle, Circle, X, Square.
Change view:
Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2and press Right, Left, Up, Down, Right,Left. Press R2 to zoom in or L2 to zoom out.Press Square to lower the camera. Press Triangleto raise the camera. Hold L1 and use the D-pad toincrease the speed at which the camera moves.
Remove screen display:
Hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2and press Triangle, Up(3) to remove the pitch, name,and stat information from the screen. The sound of a thud willconfirm correct code entry.
EA Dream Team:
Select the "Single Game" option from themain menu. Press [Left, Right] six times at theteam selection screen. The phrase "Triple Play Baseball"will be spoken to confirm correct code entry.
To use the team in home run challenge mode, select the "HomeRun Challenge" option from the main menu. Hold Up+ L1 + R1 at the team selection screen. The phrase"Triple Play Baseball" will be spoken to confirm correctcode entry.
When playing as the EA Dream Team, find the player with the bigbat. Press Circle when he is batting to hit an automatichome run.

Home run sounds:
Press Triangle or Square to hear airhorns or Circle to hear whistles while running around thebases after hitting a home run. Note: Set the Sound FX volumeto maximum for best results.
Change batting stance:
When you are in a season and are up to bat, you canchange your player's stance by pressing R1 or L1.With a right-handed batter, press L1(3) if it is an insidepitch. If it is an outside pitch press R1(3).
Hint: Perfect game:
Enable the "Strike out the batter" code foreach player, but instead of throwing a real pitch, press Down+ Square to throw a pitch out. The batter will not swing,and the pitch will count as all three strikes. Repeat during theentire game to end with a perfect 27 strike out game (if the visitor)or 24 strike out game (if the home team).
Hint: Run faster:
Repeatedly press X to increase the runner'sspeed.
Hint: Easy hits:
When you are up at bat, switch controls to the otherteam and select a fastball down the middle. Before the pitch starts,switch back to your team. The fastball down the middle shouldgive you a good hitting opportunity.
Hint: Pop outs:
When you are on defense with a pitcher that has a slider,use that pitch. Then, press Up + X to throw highin the strike zone. The batter will swing and usually pop theball up to be caught your pitcher or catcher.
Hint: Prevent outs:
When batting and you hit a ball that is easy to field,switch controls to the other team before it is fielded and intentionallymisplay the ball. Then, switch back to your team to run the bases.
Better defense:
Before throwing the first pitch, move the outfieldin two "clicks" and over either to the left or rightto align the center fielder behind the pitcher. Note: The centerfielder should not be all the way up (at second base). If thathappens, move him back one click. Most of the time, with any linedrive or normal base hit to the outfield, you can throw the runnerout at first base by using a "power throw". This worksespecially well with the "Powerup Defense". There isalso still time to get back to the wall if he hits a long fly.
