Hardcore match weapons:
You can use the weapons in a Hardcore match a certainnumber of times. The following list has the number of hits foreach weapon and if it can be found outside or inside the ring.If your opponent is stunned, hit him with a weapon with two hitpoints,so he will be stunned again after the last hit. If your opponentis awake, hit him with a weapon with one or three hitpoints.

Reveal moves:
To learn the finishers or any other move for a wrestler,enter creation mode and select his or her move set. Then, go toedit to learn how to do any of their moves. Also, pause game playwhen in the ring and go to movelist. The game will display allmoves that can be done at the appropriate time, such as all theTieup moves, etc.

Use the following steps to use double team moves whenyou are in a one player tag team match. Note: Your opponent hasto be stunned.

Call in your partner and he will stand next you. Then, hold Tieupand you will do the Suplex.

Practice moves:
Start a two player vs. match. Practice all the movesas many times as needed to learn them. This can help very muchin career mode.

Easy move after knockdown:
After you knock down your opponent, or he knocks youout, enter a move combo and hold the last button. When you oryour opponent gets up, the move will be executed.

Easy victory:
To easily defeat an opponent, bring them outside thering and beat them to the ground just before the count out time.

This can be done in any mode. Get out of the ring, then when youropponent is about to jump on you, immediately get into the ring.He or she will get some damage.

Easy one-on-one victory:
Stun your opponent, then throw him out of the ring(press Left, Left, X or Right, Right,X). Move very close to the ropes, then run and press Triangle.If done correctly, the CPU player will remain still allowing youto execute this move. It is very powerful and can be repeatedmany times. Note: If you press Triangle without running,your opponent will climb back into the ring, causing you damage.

CPU vs. CPU:
Before a match, enter the match options screen. Goto "Simulation" and turn it on. Start the match andthe CPU will control you and your opponent.

Tag partner:
To tag your partner, go over to him then press theR1(2) to look at your partner. Then, hold Circleto tag your partner.

Call in partner:
To call in your partner, hold Triangle + Square+ Circle + X and hold R1.

Tag team match call-in :
Hold X and press R1 during a tag teammatch to call your partner into the ring without having to taghim.

Royal Rumble replacement:
When playing in a Royal Rumble and your wrestler losesor leaves the ring, hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2to use the next wrestler.

Fake pin or submission:
Press R1 when attempting either a pin or submissionto break out of that move.

Fake stun:
Press Dodge (default is R1) when youropponent is doing a move on your wrestler. If done correctly,your wrestler will pretend to be stunned. Do not move to remainin the fake stun. This trick is useful when playing against ahuman opponent. If they pick your wrestler up during a fake stun,you can easily do a move to them.

New chant:
Pause game play after a chant starts. The crowd willbe doing a different chant after the game is resumed.

Extra shirts:
Use the following trick to get extra shirts. Choseany shirt, but make it completely black. Go to the tattoo option,and chose any tattoo. The tattoo will appear on the shirt, creatinga new shirt. This works especially well with the "ATTITUDE"tattoo.

New custom clothing:
Enter create a wrestler mode. Pick any skin color otherthan the skin number 1. Nose 15 and nose 16 should appear undernoses and some extra clothing such as "wimpy" shortsshould also be available. Note: The noses do not work with allskin colors, but do work with skin number 4.

Hint: Quick Career mode:
When selecting a career type (tag, etc.), choose twoplayer. Your opponent in some of the matches will be player two,and it starts out with the championship division. Make playertwo with no attributes to win faster.

Win the King of the Ring and you will skip two rankings. Win RoyalRumble and you will skip seven or eight rankings.

Hint: Fast matches:
To get short matches, set the time to one minute. Yourenergy will decrease quickly. To make it go faster, get an opponentwhose "Toughness" is very weak.

Hint: Career mode Hardcore Belt:
To get the Hardcore belt, choose a hardcore wrestlersuch as Al Snow.

Hint: Career mode Woman's Title:
To get the woman's title in career mode, create a femalewrestler. Use her in career mode and you can win the Woman's Title.

Hint: Vertical Suplex:
It is not possible to do a Vertical Suplex outsideof the ring.

Hint: Brock Lesnar's F-5:
Create a character and put his finisher as the TKO.When you do the move, it will resemble Brock Lesnar's F-5.

Hint: Dlo Drop flip over:
Select D-Lo Brown as a wrestler. Execute the Dlo Dropwhile your opponent is on his stomach and he will flip over foryou.

Hint: Better wrestler creation:
Make your wrestler look as desired, then go to themoves option. Edit the moves as needed, and try to include lotsof finishers, but keep within the limit.

Hint: Give created wrestler facial hair:
Go to the "Create" option on the create wrestlermenu. Choose the "Body" option, then the "Color"option. Under the "Skin color" option, choose "SkinColor 1". The skin color numbers should be 6, 60, 50. Exitthe "Body" option and choose the "Head" option.Go to the "Beard" option, then choose beard number 2.The colors should be 5, 23, 38. From a distance, the created wrestlerwill look like he has facial hair.

Trademark moves for created wrestlers:
To get moves that are wrestler's trademarks, createa wrestler then choose moves. Select the wrestler with the desiredtrademark move. Change all the other moves, but keep the trademark.

Hint: Stable match energy:
When playing a stable match, your energy will go downvery quickly (with five good moves).

Hint: Hearing the intros:
Not all wrestlers will speak during their intros underthe "Everybody" language option. Set that option to"Teen" or "Bleeped" to hear intros from HHH,Road Dogg, and Billy Gunn. This will also result in Chyna appearingto No Chance in Hell instead of the DX music.

Hint: TKO in single career mode:
Start a King Of The Ring tournament, and at every matchenable the TKO option. Then, start a singles career after thetournament. The TKO option will still be enabled.

Hint: 3-on-1 or War Matches:
The best strategy to use is to dive in and out of thering. Press R2 to run, and then press L2 to quicklyslide out.

Hint: Winning a 3-on-1 Hardcore match:
Grab a weapon and run to where the wrestlers appear.Use the weapon and fight all three of them (who will not haveweapons). They will not go back to get any weapons, and none willfall where you are fighting.

For another way to win, run to the outside of the ring beforeany CPU wrestler attacks as the match begins. Then, run when thewrestlers try to jump over the top rope. Target one wrestler whilestill on the outside and beat him while ignoring the rest, ifpossible. If not, just throw the wrestler down, then press Block,change view, and do the same move. Do this until the person ison the floor or standing up in a dazed position. Then, quicklyenter the ring. One wrestler should be eliminated. Then. do thisagain to eliminate the second wrestler and face only one CPU wrestler.. You can face him and beat him down, or just run outside andwait for him to be dazed and get back into the ring at the lastsecond.

Hint: 3-on-1 slam:
Start a co-op 3-on-1 match. When the your opponentis stunned, get two players in front, and one behind. Have allplayers press Tieup. The two players in front will pickup the opponent for a Double Suplex, turn around (so that theopponent has his back to the third person), then the third personwill Sit-Down Powerbomb.

Hint: Time out victory:
While in a Triple Threat/Triangle/War mode match, select3 or 4 players. Then, do the most damage and have the person whodid all the moves in the entire matchget counted out. This worksbest with a 1:00 time limit. After the time is up the message" wins by declaration of VinceMcMahon" will appear.

Select King Of The Ring (8 player) mode, and set the time to oneminute. Do not move the wrestlers at all after the match begins.At the end, the camera will choose a wrestler and the message" wins by declaration of VinceMcMahon" will appear.

Hint: Quick Cruicifix pin victory:
Selecting a wrestler with a Crucifix pin. Get youropponent's power into the yellow, then execute the Crucifix pinto quickly win.

Hint: Custom Raw arena entrances:
Make your custom arena a Raw arena -- a regular PPVarena will not work. Gangrel will appear from the floor fire andStone Cold will break the glass to come down to the ring.

Hint: Tag team moves:
In a 2-on-1or tag match, when your opponent is dazed,you and a partner can both press Tieup facing the dizzyCPU wrestler to execute a double team move:

Double Powerbomb: Front and back of CPU wrestler
Double Supplex: Both in front of CPU wrestler
Double Legsplitter: Both at legs of CPU wrestler on ground
Doomsday Device: Have one partner on turnbuckle and the otherwith the opponent on his/her shoulders. Then, have the partneron the turnbuckle press Punch to perform the move.

Hint: Royal Rumble elimination:
To eliminate your opponent in the Royal Rumble whenthey are dazed on their feet, press Left, Left,Block to pick them up. Then, walk to the ropes and pressTieup. If you are behind a dazed opponent, you can usethe Atomic Drop Whip, which is Left, Left, Block.

When playing as Kane in the Royal Rumble, you can toss opponentout of the ring if you have your back directly to ropes. Tie upyour opponent and press Left, Right, Left,Tieup. Kane will suplex them out of the ring.

While playing as Gangrel in a Royal Rumble you can eliminate youropponents easily using his Overhead Belly-To-Belly Suplex: Right,Down, Kick.

You can eliminate wrestlers in the Royal Rumble by doing a BackBody Drop with your back near the ropes.

Hint: Two-on-one matches:
When you are facing two people (usually in career mode)instead of trying to pin the opponents, keep beating them up untiltime runs out. If your wrestler hits them enough, you will winby most damage.

Hint: I Quit Cage match:
In the odd time you are playing this type of match,do not waste your time trying to get your opponent to submit.You can still win by climbing out of the cage.

If you are having problems with an I Quit Cage match, try to intentionallylose. Stand there, jump off the top rope into nobody, or killyourself. You will move back one rank spot. However, if you winyour next match you will be in the same rank as before but ata different type of match.

Hint: Stunning the CPU in tag team matches:
Begin a tag team match with a friend against the CPU.When the first opponent comes in, slide out of the ring. Go nearyour tag team partner by the outer part of the ring, where heis standing. When the CPU passes your partner, he should pressPunch, Kick, or Tieup. If done correctly,the CPU will be stunned and fall. This can be repeated as needed.

Hint: Call out wrestler in grudge match:
Begin a grudge match in career mode and get one opponentin the red and the other in the green. A man will automaticallycome out and help the man in the red.

Hint: Double Bronco Buster:
Have two players use a Bronco Buster simultaneouslyon a third player to have that move done in tandem.

Hint: Training for reversals:
Take away (set to 0) all the attributes for the defaultcustom wrestler and set his recovery to 10. Give him the movethat you want to practice reversing at damage 4. Start a vs. match,select your character, choose default as your opponent, and setthe time to no limit. This will allow you to train against thatmove.

Hint: Getting your opponent booed:
Start a match that is not a weapon or cage type. Runand slide down to the outside. Your opponent will follow you soon.Slide back into the ring, then slide out again when your opponentgets onto the apron. When you slide down again, your opponentwill turn around and get ready to get down to the floor again.Slide back in before he or she gets down, and the crowd will beginto boo. This is useful to get the crowd to stop cheering for youropponent.

Hint: Baseball Swing with weapon:
Get your opponent stunned in a hardcore match:. Geta weapon that you use with two hands, such as the ladder or thechair and hit your opponent. Your wrestler will do a baseballswing with that weapon.

Hint: Sliding strategy:
Slide out of the ring, and your opponent will do aspringboard to come after your wrestler. As soon as this happens,slide back into the ring so it misses. Repeat this until youropponent is knocked out, then perform a springboard to them todo a lot of damage. Keep repeating this until they are in thered, then pin them.

Hint: Walk around after match ends:
Start moving immediately before the time runs out.Your wrestler will be able to walk around for a few seconds.

Glitch: No damage from finisher:
Create an obese wrestler with no attributes. Anotherplayer's finisher will not hurt him/her. They will get right backup from the move.

Glitch: Stuck in a pin:
This may occur in a three-way and four-way match ifyour wrestler goes for the pin, and your opponent kicks out atthe same time that another wrestler tries to break up the pin.Your wrestler and your opponents will become stuck in the pinposition. Your opponents will still try to hit your wrestler,and all characters will not be able to get up.

Glitch: Stuck in the ropes:
Slide into the ring while a CPU wrestler slides outof the ring in single player mode. Both players may become stuck,while the announcers keep talking. Note: This was observed whenusing a custom wrestler against CPU controlled Double J.

Glitch: Phantom Bronco Buster:
Perform the Bronco Buster move using X-pac. After kickingyour opponent down and they get back up, X-pac will continue todo the Bronco Buster at nothing.

Glitch: Phantom Shattered Dreams:
It is possible to perform another Shattered Dreamsmove even after your opponent has left the corner. To do this,perform the Shattered Dreams then quickly enter the combo againwhile your opponent falls from the corner. Goldust will executethe Shattered Dreams at nothing.

Glitch: Phantom Power Slam:
Play as Bad Ass Billy Gunn in career mode and executethe Power Slam move. The game will occasionally cause your opponentto fall down, and your wrestler will execute the move as theywere getting up. However, the move will still drain your opponent'senergy.

Glitch: Phantom boot to the face:
Occasionally when playing as the Undertaker or Kane,your opponent will fall down before a boot to the face appearsonscreen. The boot will still go up and the same amount of damagewill be done to your opponent.

Glitch: Phantom Bossman Slam:
Play a match as Big Bossman. Throw your opponent intothe ropes and do the Bossman Slam. At times, your opponent willfall before the move.

Glitch: Phantom Tree Of Woe:
Play a match as Mankind. Execute the Tree Of Woe whenyour opponent gets out of the corner, and you will still performthe move.

Glitch: Phantom Reverse Powerbomb:
Create a wrestler and give him/her the Reverse Powerbombmove. It will make you go ahead of the wrestler you are facing,but you will still execute the move.

Glitch: Phantom Elevated Crab:
Create a wrestler and give him/her the Elevated Crabfinishing move. Play a finisher only match. Use the Elevated Crabto end the match. Most of the time, the move can be done whileyour wrestler is away from your opponent. Your wrestler will leanback as if he were doing the Elevated Crab and your opponent willbend like it is being done to him.

Glitch: Phantom corner moves:
Before ending a corner move that finishes with youropponent in the corner, start another corner move and hold thelast button. Your wrestler will execute the move to nothing.

Glitch: No damage from moves:
Begin a match in career mode as one of the followingwrestlers and get your opponent to the point where there is nomore life (no more red). Use the indicated move on your opponent.His power will go up to yellow while yours will remain the same.Play as Steve Austin (Stone Cold Stunner), Bad Ass Billy Gunn(Fame Asser), X-Pac (X Factor), Mankind (Mandible Claw), or TheRock (Rock Bottom) for this trick.

Glitch: Merosault to the outside of thering:
In any type of match with Marc Mero, or a wrestlerwith the Merosault, knock your opponent down near the lower rightcorner so you have enough time to climb up the turnbuckle. Insteadof waiting to turn around, use the Merosault combo move to doa Merosault to the outside of the ring.
