Fury, The
Effect: Cause soldiers held by snake to become enraged.
Location: Stage 2 south america, cove valley village. Inside the fire ravaged house.
MGS 4 Love Theme / Action
Effect: Causes soldiers held by snake to cry.

Snake Eater
Effect: Increase the life recovery rate of snake through items and other
actions.
How to unlock: Earn all 40 game clear emblems.
Subsistence
Effect: Increase snake's accuracy.
How to unlock: Play a game of metal gear online. You must start the match with at least 2 players.
Unlockable masks:
Unlock the listed mask by completing the corresponding task.
- Big Boss - Get the big boss emblem. When you wear this mask, it causes enemies near you to cower in fear and/or run away screaming.

Unlock big boss extreme difficulty:

Shake the sixaxis controller and snake's octocamo will return to it's neutral colors.
Cheaper drebin prices:
Change the PS3's system date to Wednesday or Sunday to make drebin have cheaper prices. Also, in Act 5 drebin's prices are cut by 50%.
3 ways to reduce stress, gain psyche.
- Sit in a box to reduce stress faster and regain psyche.
- Go into the shade to reduce stress quicker.
- Tap X repeatedly during a cutscene to regain psyche.
PMC troops ignore you:
Wear otacon's or one of the beauty's face paints to be ignored by PMC soldiers.
Infinite drebin points:
When in shadow moses, there will be respawning Dwarf Gekkos. Go to an area where they cannot reach you such as a vent. Continuously shoot at them(preferably with machine gun) to gain DP.
Statue locations:
Find the listed statue in the corresponding location. The statues are required to unlock the solar gun. You must defeat the bossnon-lethally. Stand in the sunlight to reload the solar gun.
- Frog - Act 1: middle east, advent palace garage, on a vehicle.
- Octopus - Act 2: south america, in the research lab boss room, top right of room during the fight.
- Raven - Act 3: europe, on the top floor of the boss fight.
- Wolf - Act 4: shadow moses, behind snake's starting spot of the boss fight.
- Mantis - Act 5: Outer heaven, near the northern-most door during the fight.
Alternate ending:
If you are using a Sixaxis controller an alternate ending will play.
Custcene secrets:
Naomi's Chest: In Act 2, when Snake loses his Psyche after Namoi tells him howlong he has, press L1 to look at her chest. This will recharge Snake's Psyche.
Naomi Upskirt: In Act 2, when Snake drops his cigarette, use the hidden L1 option to look up Naomi's skirt.
Psycho Mantis' Ghost: In the first intermission sequence with Beauty and the Beast, after you use the option to look through L1, look to the left to see the ghost of Psycho Mantis.
Sorrow: In the Psycho Mantis intermission sequence, hold down L1. Psycho Mantis disappears and you will hear Sorrow say something. Hold L1 to see Sorrow. Press X to flashback.
Weird person tailing Snake:
When tailing the resistance member look behind Snake, and occasionally you will see a man with a hat and trench coat tailing him. If you try to shoot him he will duck away around the corner and disappear.
Shake rose's breasts:
If you have a sixaxis controller shake it when you speak with Rose on the codec to make her breasts move.
Glowing red eyes:
Make both of snake's eyes glow red by using the solid eye with the raiden A mask.
