| A deadly symbiote invasion brings devastation to New York City. Spider-Man: Web of Shadows is set in an apocalyptic vision of the city. You'll have complete control over New York City's salvation and the fate of Spider-man. It also features an all-new combat system that allows for three-dimensional battles that can start on the street and end up on rooftops. You can also switch between the red and black Spider-Man suits, choose to ally with Marvel's heroes or villains and decide what missions to undertake to save Manhattan from destruction. Enter these codes to play as different characters:
- CRESTWARRIOR: Moon Knight
- MASSIVEHORN: Rhino
- IEATYOURBRAINS: Venom
Token Radar
After collecting 1000 spider tokens, all spider tokens will appear as red dots on your mini map.
New Game+
After completing the game, fully watch the credits. After you watch them select continue and you will once again end up at the credits, to be safe do not skip the credits either. On your third try select continue again and the game should now start at the games first cut scene with all your upgrades and collectables.
Costumes
You can unlock cotumes by doing various things in the game.
- Armor Spider-man (Black and Greys): Complete Act 2
- Ben Reily: Complete 25 city events
- Cosmic Spider-Man: Complete Act 1
- Iron Spidey: Collect 150 Spider Tokens
- Spider Carnage: Defeat 500 enemies
- Spider-Man 2099: Complete 50 city events
Achievements
- 100 Hit Combo Ownership (25): Execute 100 Hit Combo "Ownership".
- 250 Hit Combo Neighborly (50): Execute 250 Hit Combo "Neighborly".
- 50 Hit Combo Spider Silk (10): Execute 50 Hit Combo "Spider Silk".
- Air Combo Skill (15): Defeat 50 Enemies using only Air Combos.
- Bowling Ball (5): Web Swing-Kick 5 Enemies in a single pass.
- Complete Story, Act One (50): Complete Act One.
- Complete Story, Act Two (50): Complete Act Two.
- Complete Web of Shadows (75): Complete Game.
- Defeat 100 Enemies (20): Defeat 100 Enemies.

- Wall Combo Skill (15): Defeat 50 Enemies using only Wall Combos.
