NES Ninja Gaiden:
Turn in all 50 Scarabs to Muramasa at the shop to get the original NES Ninja Gaiden cartridge. It can be played at the arcade machine at Han's bar.

Arcade Ninja Gaiden:
Successfully complete the game.

Ninja Dog difficulty:
Intentionally die three times in a row during Chapter 1. Answer "Yes" when Ayane asks "Do you really give up the way of Shinobi?".

Hard difficulty:
Have a completed original Ninja Gaiden saved game file on your hard drive. Alternately, successfully complete the game under the Ninja Dog or normal difficulty settings.

Very hard difficulty:
Have a completed original Ninja Gaiden: Hurricane Pack 2 saved game file on your hard drive. Alternately, successfully complete the game under the hard difficulty setting.

Master Ninja difficulty:
Successfully complete the game under the very hard difficulty setting.

Mission mode:
Successfully complete the game under the normal or higher difficulty setting.

Movie theater:
Successfully complete the game.

Coming Attractions:
Accumulate over one hour of game play.

Alternate title screen:
Save the game while in Ninja Dog difficulty. Load that saved game file, then hold Start + Back to perform an in-game reset to see an Ayane-themed title screen.

Alternate costumes:

Comic: Complete the game under the Ninja Dog or normal difficulty settings.
Dead Or Alive: Complete the "Special" mission.
Red Muffler: Complete the game under the hard difficulty setting.
Ryuken: Complete the game under the very hard difficulty setting.

Counter Attacks Technique Scroll:
Turn in 1 Scarab to Muramasa at the shop under the hard difficulty setting.

Armlet of Potency:
Turn in 5 Scarabs to Muramasa at the shop.

Izuna Drop Technique Scroll:
Turn in 5 Scarabs to Muramasa at the shop under the hard difficulty setting.

Live of Thousand Gods:
Turn in 10 Scarabs to Muramasa at the shop.

Windmill Shuriken:
Turn in 15 Scarabs to Muramasa at the shop.

Wooden Sword:
Turn in 20 Scarabs to Muramasa at the shop.

Dabilahro:
Turn in 25 Scarabs to Muramasa at the shop.

Armlet Of Benediction:
Turn in 30 Scarabs to Muramasa at the shop.

Armlet Of Celerity:
Turn in 35 Scarabs to Muramasa at the shop.

Armlet of Fortune:
Turn in 40 Scarabs to Muramasa at the shop.

Plasma Saber Mk. II:
Turn in 45 Scarabs to Muramasa at the shop.

Original Ninja Gaiden Game:
Turn in 50 Scarabs to Muramasa at the shop.
